This was my first ever book box and I absolutely love it. The book that came was one I was thinking about purchasing and everything in the book was so cute and definitely something that will be used. The fact that a lot of thought went into the book box is evident in the notes that came with it and the answers to the questionnaire were really paid attention to. I love everything about it! The surprise, the anticipation of not knowing what you are going to get, the care put into the packaging!! The only thing I don’t like and the reason why I won’t be getting another after next months, is the price, as it is quite expensive. Otherwise love it!! And will definitely buy on special occasions!!

Really disappointed.
Purchased this for my partner for her first Mother's Day after the birth of our first child.
She was really excited until we started watching reviews after purchasing and paying the $99 + $9 postage and noticed some stuff we didn't like.
We noticed the items given out have been very similar for most people on YouTube reviewing, and those items were Boodles Carmel, Grounded Pleasure drinking chocolate, and Higgins Cookies, as well as a few other items.
We had our fingers crossed that our box would be different, but sadly we opened it to find the same items everyone else has been getting for months. For example, we got Boodles Carmel, Grounded Pleasure Pink Salt Chocolate Drink, and Higgins Choc Cookie, as well as a pen, a face mask, and some candy.
My partner left out things like face masks as she didn't want any and got a face mask and eye mask.
The book, while similar to her preference, is not anything she will read, and after looking online is just a $12 book with the total of snacks/treats being very cheap, between $3 and $4, besides the cookie that is said to be $10-$20 but looks more like it's $2. Regardless, we paid $109 in total for around $40 worth of stuff.
One thing that also rubs me the wrong way is the "sale" price. As others have mentioned on YouTube, the sale seems to be never-ending and plays on your fear of missing out when seeing a sale, but the Wayback Machine shows they have had a "sale" from 2023 to 2025 and even increased the box price by $10 since 2023, but the sale never ends, and even if it did, $120 for a one-off with this quality would be crazy.
This doesn't feel nearly as curated to me as they make it seem, and others have mentioned the same thing on Trustpilot, and the owners have even gone so far as to ask people to remove reviews just because it makes their small business look bad.
Their note saying why they picked a book is obviously ChatGPT or other AI, and others have mentioned this too, so that sucks.
I don't recommend this at all, and I'm glad I just picked a one-off purchase and won't purchase here again.
Maybe if they add some new items and actually read the quiz, it could work, but this time it didn't for us.
