Travis is young and successful, and he's hiding his relationship with Jacob from everyone. Jacob gets badly hurt in a crash and ends up in the hospital. Travis keeps racing while visiting Jacob and continues to hide the truth. Jacob eventually wakes up, but things are not simple. His parents disapprove, and old wounds and misunderstandings push them apart. They grow and change on their own before finding their way back to each other.
