On what should be his final day with the FBI, Special Agent Daniel Stansfield is pulled back into the Colorado town he fled years ago when a series of impossible murders begins. Victims are found alive wearing the skin of strangers, with no memory of what happened to them, and each case points toward a terrifying force connected to Daniel's traumatic past. As the investigation spirals into supernatural and cosmic horror, Daniel must confront his own demons before an ancient evil claims more lives. A blend of crime thriller, psychological horror, and dark supernatural fiction, Headlights has been described as The Silence of the Lambs meets The Shining.
