Ella has spent most of her life at The Last Page, a beloved bookstore in New York City, and dreams of one day running it. Her world is turned upside down when the owner, who was like family to her, passes away and leaves the store to his estranged grandson, Henry. Planning only a short stay before returning home to Tennessee, Henry has no experience managing a bookstore and quickly clashes with Ella. As they struggle to work together, they discover that the shop is facing serious financial problems. Determined to save the store they both care about, they join forces despite their differences. Along the way, unexpected feelings begin to grow between them. Together, they must decide whether they can overcome their challenges and protect the future of The Last Page.
