Fleck Parker has a baby to feed, a toddler to soothe and school runs to manage, but she cannot resist a fresh mystery at the Paradise Heights Miniature Railway. Expensive equipment and supplies have vanished from the community attraction, leaving its volunteers bewildered. While her best friend Trixie struggles with difficult volunteers at the Many Hands Society Craft Shop, Fleck begins asking apparently harmless questions among the little engines and miniature villages. Her cheerful-mum persona helps her investigate without attracting suspicion. What first looks like an ordinary theft becomes a darker, more complicated puzzle, and her determination to uncover the culprit may take her into danger.
